Tanganyika Oil Company Ltd. (the "Corporation") is engaged in conventional exploration and production activities, with a focus in the Middle East . At present, the Corporation is active in Syria.

Key projects in Syria include a 100% interest the Oudeh Block and the Tishrine/Sheik Mansour Blocks located in northeastern sector of the country. The Corporation's objective is to increase oil recovery and crude oil production at the fields within the Blocks through application of enhanced oil recovery techniques.

The Corporation's shares are traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange in Canada under the symbol "TYK" and its Swedish Depository Receipts on the OMX Nordic Exchange Stockholm under the symbol "TYKS".
