| |    | | |  Tanganyika Oil Company Ltd. ("Tanganyika" or the "Corporation") was incorporated under the Company Act (British Columbia) on September 19, 1986 under the name "Flash Pack Ltd." On December 5, 1994, the Corporation changed its name to "Canadian Lynx Petroleum Ltd." and the issued and outstanding shares of the Corporation were consolidated on a one-for-five basis. Also on December 5, 1994, the Corporation's authorized share capital was increased to 25,000,000 common shares. On February 2, 1995, the Corporation's authorized share capital was further increased to 100,000,000 common shares. On September 19, 1995, the Corporation was continued under the Canada Business Corporations Act, its authorized share capital was increased to an unlimited number of common shares and its name was changed to "Tanganyika Oil Company Ltd." On December 10, 2003 the Corporation listed Swedish Depository Receipts ("SDRs) on the Nya Marknaden of the Stockholm Stock Exchange. Each SDR represents one common share of Tanganyika on deposit with E. Ohman J:or Fondkommission AB of Stockholm, Sweden serving as custodian. On Feb. 14, 2007 Tanganyika Oil Company Ltd.'s application for a primary listing of its Swedish depository receipts on Stockholmsborsen was approved by Stockholmsborsen's listing committee. The first date of trading on Stockholmsborsen was scheduled for Feb. 14, 2007. The last day of trading at First North was scheduled for Feb. 13, 2007. The trading symbol "TYKS" remained the same. The trading lot on the Stockholmsborsen is 100 Swedish depository receipts. The Corporation's registered and records office is located at Suite 1100, 888 Dunsmuir Street,Vancouver, British Columbia, V6C 3K4. The Corporation's corporate office is located at Suite 1400, 700 - 4th Avenue S.W., Calgary, Alberta, Canada, T2P 3J4. The Corporation is a reporting issuer under the Securities Act (British Columbia), the Securities Act (Alberta), the Securities Act (Saskatchewan) and the Securities Act (Manitoba). The Corporation's common shares trade on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "TYK" and its Swedish Depository Receipts trade on Stockholmsborsen, Stockholm under the symbol "TYKS". The Corporation is a "Tier 1" company under the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange. | | | |
